Our Statement of Faith: Executive SummaryWe believe in one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (or Spirit), of one substance, power, and eternity. (1Jo 5:7 Mt 3:16,17 28:19 2Co 13:14 ) The Father is of none neither, begotten nor proceeding; the Son is eternally begotten of the Father; Joh 1:14,18, the Holy Spirit eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son. Joh 15:26 Ga 4:6 To him is due from angels and men, and every other creature, whatever worship, service, or obedience, he is pleased to require of them. (Re 5:12,13,14) We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God, the final authority for faith and practice. (2Ti 3:15-17 Isa 8:20 Lu 16:29,31 Eph 2:20.) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through his substitutionary death on the cross; our salvation is made sure by his literal physical resurrection from the grave. (Ro 5:19 Heb 9:14,16 10:14 Eph 5:2 Ro 3:25,26) We believe that the 1st man Adam was created in innocence, but fell from grace by a wanton act of self-exaltation (humanism) over Gods Law-Word, and is now totally unable to remedy his lost condition with out the sovereign election of a merciful God. (Rom 5:12, 15-19) We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Rom 5-6) We believe in the eternal salvation of the believer and the eternal judgment of all who reject Jesus Christ. (Eph 1:13,14 Eph 4:30 2Co 1:21,22) We believe the Holy Spirit is the Divine Teacher who guides believers into truth; and, that He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing into the Body of Christ, indwelling, and sealing them until the day of redemption. We believe that the Church is a spiritual organism made up of all born again persons of this present age. We believe that the establishment of local churches is clearly taught and defined in Scripture. We believe in the resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment. For the elect (Ga 4:4,5 Ge 3:15 Re 13:8 Heb 13:8 7) For the unsaved (Joh 6:64-66 Joh 8:24 and (2Jo 1:9-11 1Co 16:22 Ga 1:6-8.) We believe in the personal coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for his redeemed ones. |
