CITIZENS FORUM TO BE
HELD IN WINNSBORO

TX --- Nov 27 – In honor of the 1st 10
Amendments to the US Constitution, THE BILL OF RIGHTS, Winnsboro Reformed
Church will host a celebration and Citizens Forum, Saturday December 15, 2007, 4:00
pm, at the church: 720 East Coke Road Winnsboro

This special celebration of the Bill of
Rights Day is sponsored by the church, along with the Foundation for Christian
Alternatives, State, County and City Officials.
When
the US Constitution was ratified in 1789, many people were concerned that it
did not protect certain freedoms. They thought that the Constitution should be
changed or amended to protect these freedoms. On
The
celebration of the Bill of Rights -- 216 Years Later will include short
presentations by noted elected officials and members of the local Boy Scout
Troop, historical facts and music will be presented about the protections
afforded to modern day Americans by the Bill Of Rights. Each participant will
receive a free copy of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the

a part of the Bill Of Rights Celebrations a “Citizens Forum” may be a part of
the program. The general public is being asked to submit material relevant to
their view of the need for a Bill of Rights / What the Bill of Rights have
meant to them in terms of recent political hopefuls on the Presidential Level.
